Privately owned waste removal services are available in Wisner. The city owns a trash compactor and drop-off station. Waste is hauled to a landfill in Jackson, Nebraska, 60 miles northeast of Wisner. The transfer station is located at 419 Avenue E on the east side of town, south of Dawson Tire and Wheel.
