What hazardous materials are accepted for disposal?
Household hazardous waste can be disposed of by appointment only. The following items of hazardous waste are accepted:
1. Auto care products (such as brake fluid, deicers, lubricants and sealants)
2. Home cleaners and other miscellaneous home items (such as bleach, degreasers, disinfectants, and lighter fluid)
3. Pesticides and pet care items (such as animal repellent, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, flea and tick control, and stain/odor remover)
4. Landscape and yard debris items (such as fertilizer, lawn care debris, and swimming pool products)
5. Home maintenance items (such as paints, stains, varnish, paint thinner, stripper and adhesive)
