1. When is the grass clippings pile and tree pile open and where are they located?

The grass clippings pile and tree pile are open from 10:00 AM to Noon, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, and from 8:00 AM to Noon and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays.

The City Dump site is south of HIghway 275 on the east side of town. The road to the dump site is just west of the new F & F Tire shop.

2. How do I report that a street light is out?

Call the City Office at (402)529-6616 to report a street light that is out or use our Report A Concern form.

5. What hazardous materials are accepted for disposal?

Household hazardous waste can be disposed of by appointment only. The following items of hazardous waste are accepted:
1. Auto care products (such as brake fluid, deicers, lubricants and sealants)
2. Home cleaners and other miscellaneous home items (such as bleach, degreasers, disinfectants, and lighter fluid)
3. Pesticides and pet care items (such as animal repellent, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, flea and tick control, and stain/odor remover)
4. Landscape and yard debris items (such as fertilizer, lawn care debris, and swimming pool products)
5. Home maintenance items (such as paints, stains, varnish, paint thinner, stripper and adhesive)
