1. When are City Council meetings held?

Regular City Council meetings are scheduled for 7:00 PM on the first and third Monday of each month. Special meetings are scheduled as needed. Meetings take place at:

1111 Avenue E
Wisner, NE 68791
If the scheduled Monday is a holiday, the meeting is then scheduled for the first business day following the holiday.

2. How do I get an item on a council agenda?

Please fill out the Future Agenda Item Request form and return it to the City of Wisner Offices at 1111 Avenue E.

3. How do I find out what items will be on the next City Council agenda?

At least 48 hours prior to the meeting date and time, the agenda is posted inside City Hall. You may also request to have the agenda sent to you by e-mail on the Friday before the meeting.

4. When is the next City Council and/or Mayoral election?

Elections are held every two years in November. The Mayor and City Council members each serve four-year terms. Contact the Cuming County Clerk at (402)372-6002 for more information.

5. How do I address an issue with the City Council?

To speak at a City Council meeting, you may do so in one of two ways. You can discuss an item during the "Comments" part of the meeting. No action can be taken at that time, but the City Council may decide to put the matter on a future agenda.

The City of Wisner is divided into two wards, and 2 Council members represent each ward. The Council members, their Wards, and contact numbers are available on the City Council page.
