1. When can flowers be left on graves?

Flowers can be left in permanent containers all year long, and may be left on graves throughout the winter season.

2. Can I pick up the flowers that I left on a grave?

Yes, you may pickup your own flowers that you placed on a grave. Flowers are usually kept for one week after specified removal dates.

3. If I am unable to get in touch with someone at the cemetery, what should I do?

Contact the City Office at (402)529-6616 and leave a message with your phone number. We will have someone call you back as soon as possible.

4. How do I purchase a lot in the City of Wisner Cemetery?

5. Can I plant bushes in the cemetery next to a headstone?

In-ground plants are now allowed.

6. Is there a directory I can look at?

Maps are in a metal box next to the granite cemetery map near the entrance to the cemetery.

7. How big is a cemetery lot?

A cemetery lot has enough room for either 3 persons or 8 persons, depending on where it is located within the Wisner Cemetery.
